First album of Ulveheim is in pure
Viking style, regardless that band isn't from "Scandinavia" when you listen this album you can feel that "Scandinavian" or Viking feature, album is full of melodic riffs which reminds on Viking and coldness.
Album have great sound quality, lead guitar have stronger sound than rythm, drums didn't based on pure "ace" it's based more on crossings and double pedal on some moments.
They have more of some interesting instruments like is "Mouth Harp" and "Flute".
I was surprised when i hear perfec clean vocals, it's sounds great, on clean vocals they have som small echo, they have almost on all songs clean vocals.
They also have acoustic guitar riffs.
One song in this album is with pure vocals and nothing others, but it takes only 0:37 sec. it's called "Ein Hyllest til dei Falne menn".
Best songs on this album are: Ulvekrigerne, For Ære Heder og Fedreland and Kongens Siste Ferd.
Album is released by "Ovis Records" in May 2010.
Name of the album mean from Norwegian to English "From Mountains of Wolves".
